Corrections policy

The official agency wins whenever a GovWait value and its source disagree. Reports of mismatches are investigated against the primary source and append-only history.

Report a possible error

Email [email protected] with:

• the exact GovWait URL;
• the official government URL;
• the value and date you observed; and
• a short description of the mismatch.

Do not send an application number, passport, decision letter or other personal case material.

How corrections work

1. We reproduce the issue against the current official source.
2. We check the stored raw observation, parser output and validation record.
3. If GovWait is wrong, publication is blocked until the parser or page is corrected and the full validation suite passes.
4. A genuine official change is added as a new dated observation. Prior official observations are not silently rewritten.

Spelling, explanation or accessibility errors in GovWait’s own text are corrected directly, with the page’s modified date updated when the change is material.
