These terms describe what GovWait provides, what it does not provide, and the rules for reusing its data.

Reference information only

GovWait records processing-time figures published by government agencies and adds source links, dates, comparisons and history. It is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for any government. The site does not provide legal or immigration advice and cannot predict an individual decision.

Government figures can change without notice, and an individual case can take longer than a published estimate or standard. Before making travel, employment, education or financial commitments, verify the current information on the linked official government page.

No application service

GovWait does not accept, review, expedite or track applications. Do not send personal application documents, passport details, payment information or confidential case records.

Data and API reuse

To the extent GovWait owns copyright in its original selection, organization, field definitions and explanatory metadata, that material is offered under CC BY 4.0 unless a page states otherwise. Reuse must attribute GovWait, identify changes and not imply endorsement. GovWait does not relicense underlying government information, logos, trademarks or third-party material; the originating agency's licence and terms still apply. Reasonable automated API use is welcome. Do not overload the service, evade technical limits, misrepresent unavailable values as estimates, or use GovWait branding to impersonate the site or a government.

Availability and liability

The service is provided “as is” without a promise of uninterrupted availability, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, GovWait is not responsible for losses caused by relying on a processing-time figure instead of confirming the official source.
