GovWait Official government processing times, with source status

How long will it take?
The latest source-backed answer, tracked.

Governments publish how long applications are taking, but source pages often replace the earlier number. We record each verified value with its source, date and collection status, so you can see the latest source-backed figure—or a clearly labeled last-verified snapshot when collection closes—plus the history the source page no longer shows.

Reports and practical planning guides

Canada — Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)

United Kingdom — UK Visas and Immigration (Home Office)

New Zealand — Immigration New Zealand (INZ)

Norway — Norwegian Directorate of Immigration (UDI)

Automated source updates are unavailable. GovWait paused UDI collection on September 4, 2026 after the source’s robots file began returning HTTP 403. We did not bypass that restriction. The Norway figures remain as a preserved, last-successfully-verified snapshot from September 1, 2026; confirm current information on the linked UDI source before relying on it.

Why trust these numbers?

Because they aren't ours. Every figure is the government's own published statistic — we just refuse to let it disappear. Each value links its official source, carries the agency's update date when supplied (or a clearly labeled first-observed date when not), includes our verification date, and joins a permanent history. Read the methodology, editorial policy and Research Desk byline.

For machines

The same records are available through free CSV downloads and dataset metadata, a free JSON API, a public MCP server for AI agents, and llms.txt. Reuse must preserve government attribution and the source-specific terms.
