Country comparisons help answer “what is IRCC publishing now?” They do not answer why a particular case took longer or whether an application will be approved.

What is inside the official estimate

IRCC’s general calculation guidance says processing starts when a complete application is submitted and ends when it makes a decision. Its current visitor-visa guide separately says the time needed to give biometrics is not included. Preparation before submission, waiting to receive any later document and the traveler’s own booking schedule are also separate.

Use two dates, not one

A useful check records both the official data date and the date you looked. The current value is dated October 1, 2026. GovWait also stores its retrieval time. This prevents an old screenshot from being passed around as if it were current.

Visit the current Philippines visitor visa processing time and history to see every differing value GovWait records. Tracking began in August 2026, so the first row is a baseline.

When an individual wait runs longer

IRCC says an application can take longer when it is incomplete or complex, information is difficult to verify, more material is requested, or volumes and processing capacity change. The aggregate figure cannot identify which factor applies to a specific file.

Safe use: compare the official figure with your planning needs, add room for uncertainty, and use IRCC’s account or contact tools—not GovWait—for a submitted case.

Common questions

Is 26 days the time after biometrics?

No. IRCC publishes a country-level visitor-visa statistic, not a personal stage timer, and its current visitor-visa guide says the time needed to give biometrics is not included.

Will this page change its date on every build?

No. The data and sitemap dates change only when the represented official value or source date changes.
